Aim of Research: Development of carbon ion radiotherapy combined with immunotherapy
The aim of our study is to develop a carbon ion radiotherapy combined with immunotherapy targeting the NKT cell immune system in patients with head & neck cancer‚ mucosal melanoma and bone and soft tissue sarcomas. Establishment of this new therapy with relatively minimal-invasive and few adverse events may improve the therapeutic outcomes and then contribute to the health and social welfare. We also foster young researches through an on-the-job training system in the clinical research field and promote their capability of carrying out the translational research with GCP compliance.
