Annual Best Research Award, Chiba University Global COE Program
The Annual Best Research Award, Chiba University Global COE program (Medical) for Fiscal 2012 was given to three Ph.D students in the G-COE relevant fields whose research was recognized to be most outstanding through evaluation in the committee of the G-COE Operation and Management Office. The winners gain research fund with certificates and commemorative gifts.
The winners are as follows;
Dr. Yukiko Watanabe, a graduate student at the Department of Immunology, Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University
The title of the prize-winning research: Role of Menin/TrxG complex in Th17 cell differentiation.
Dr. Yoko Yoshida, a graduate student at the Department of Cardiovascular Science and Medicine , Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University
The title of the prize-winning research: A crucial role of p53 in regulating adipose remodeling in heart failure and diabetes.
Dr. Yuta Mishima, a graduate student at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University
The title of the prize-winning research: The Hbo1-Brpf2 complex is responsible for global acetylation of H3K14 and required for fetal liver erythropoiesis.
